Okay, so I *think* the difference is that a Circle Scarf (aka Cowl Neck Scarf) is a seamless, tubular design and the infinity scarf tie is where you take a long scarf and create a circle by tying the ends together. Does that help at all?
Actually, the “infinity” has the infinity sign, which looks like a figure 8 lying on its side. Its a matter of whether or not there is a twist. (I’m a math geek…)
I love this–I had seen a version a few months ago and found it helpful. My only complaint is that when I try them with my scarves, the more intricate ties end up looking weird, so I go back to my basic wrap around my neck twice and let the ends hang down version most often. I should try the infinity tie, though.
I woke up this morning and had to come hunting for this tutorial again. My kiddos are sick but that doesn’t mean a mom can’t enjoy wearing a ‘modified’ bunny ears and feel good herself!
Pretty entertaining! Recently I was thinking that I need to get me more scarves, and this would be ve very helpful since most of the time I don’t know how to tie them
My 8-year-old watched this with me, and made me buy two new scarves today so that i can try some of these out. He is particularly fascinated by the waterfall.
Just used it today to tie my scarf! I used the Magic Trick, around 2 min 37 secs. Awesome! :) Definitely IS the best scarf tutorial ever! Love, love, love it! Now I just need to get a couple more scarves. I have 3!

Fabulous! I’ve been trying to figure out new ways to tie scarves and this helped immensely, so thank you!
That is amazing! I may have to go and buy some scarves.(At the resale shop, of course. Let’s hope nobody else in town sees this…!)
What a cool video! Though I admit that it’s bugging me that I can’t figure out the difference between “the infinity” and “the circle”.
