Lovely Links

If you’re as much of a Marilyn fan as I am, you will absolutely adore this new makeup collection from MAC.

Kristen never fails to inspire me with her marriage posts. This one just might be my favorite yet, though. Beautiful: “I love him. Even more, I like him. And most of all, I choose to do both even when I don’t feel like it.”

I’m sure some of you have already spotted this image over on Pinterest, but for those of you who missed it, you should take a peek. It demonstrates how the way you apply your eyeliner can change the shape of your eyes (or how they’re perceived, anyway). Wow!

This Simple Mom post by Dr. Corey Allan about marriage killers is one of the best of I’ve ever read on the subject. Beware of the four horsemen, indeed.

Here is yet another beautiful post from the lovely Mary DeMuth on how marriage is like training for a half-marathon.

What two widows might say to us about marriage. This one brought tears to my eyes.

Anyone in the mood for a little eye candy? How gorgeous is this vintage clothing studio? Swoon.

I cannot tell you how long I’ve been looking for a tutorial on how to identify your face shape! Mary lays it all out for us right over here. Oh, and be sure not to miss the fantastic links at the bottom which offer further instructions and recommendations re: choosing glasses frames and hairstyles.

And last but certainly not least, I absolutely adore this post from Alexandra on going the extra mile for your husband. She’s so sweet.

Have a lovely weekend, pretty ladies!

The widows’ story- I am reading _The Women of Troy Hill_ right now. One chapter I read this week was, I think, about Mary and Joe. Lifelong friends. They sang duets together every night as they washed the dishes. He died and left her alone. I think you’d like the book. Troy Hill is largely Catholic, the cultural stories are infused throughout the book.
