Brian and I love classic movies so I found the Hollywood article especially interesting. One of my favorite movies mentioned in it is Woman of the Year. I love the scene where Katherine Hepburn’s character attends a wedding and really HEARS the words of the vows and realizes she has not been living them in her own marriage. It is a beautiful moment of self discovery. :-)

I know I am not the only one to tell you this, but we so need this perspective! You posted something a while back that just shook me up. We come from a long line of failed marriages, and have had to really realize that the best thing we could do for our family was pour, just pour, effort and attention into our relationship. And even if we had the money for a romantic Hawaiian sojourn, we do not have the childcare support to make even an overnight thing happen. So these ideas for bringing romance into daily life, and changing my reactions, have been life changing. Thanks for continuing to find and present these awesome links to us.
And yay for Ginny. I “knew” her when!
