I just signed up for Passionfruit Ads this week and am already smitten. If you are a blogger who is interested in selling ad space on your sidebar you must check them out! You set the price and the parameters, they give you code, you post that code, and they handle the rest. It’s a thing of beauty. For a visual, just take a peek at my Advertising page and sidebar ads.
To celebrate, I thought it might be fun to give away a month of free ad space! If you have a blog or business that you’d like to promote (in a 300 x 150 px banner on my sidebar), just leave a comment in the combox. I’ll toss all the names into the hat and pick a winner Thursday morning!
UPDATED: The giveaway has ended. Congratulations, sweet Ana!
“Oh, that’s right. I did. When I said that Hallie and I are hosting one this summer.
Contrary to how it may seem since neither of us have mentioned it recently, we haven’t forgotten about it or blocked it out of our minds as a sanity-preservation technique. We’ve actually been doing a lot of work on it. The reason for our silence is this:
Our venue fell through…”
The story has a happy ending, though, which is why this post of Jen’s is a favorite. We are looking forward to sharing all the exciting details with you very soon!
Don’t you love it when you rediscover an old favorite? I’ve been a Shabby Apple fangirl for years but somehow it fell off my radar for the last few months. I decided to take a peek at their new stuff last week and oh my swoon. Those girls over there can create a dress like nobody’s business.
Do you know what I’m terrible at? Wielding a round brush in one hand and a hairdryer in the other and creating anything resembling a professional blowout. My oh-so-kind hair stylist let me in on a little secret that has been lifesaving, though (because yes, my life does depend on my having good hair). He told me to get a set of hot rollers, leave them in my hair for five minutes, take them out, admire the bounciness, and bid my round brush adieu.
So I did, and I’ve never looked back.
These are the hot rollers I have and they are fantastic. The only thing I don’t like about them is the pins they come with. They kept falling out of my hair. The super clips you see above, on the other hand, are God’s gift to hot rollers and the gals who love them. Truly.
(Oh, and you should get some Sebastian Whipped Creme, too. Of all the products I’ve ever shared here, this stuff is hands-down my favorite.)
Let Her Go by Passenger
As I mentioned over on Twitter, I just fell in love with a brand new song.
A brand new song that already has over 176 million views on YouTube.
I knew I was out of touch but this is just shameful. Just pretend you don’t know me, girls. I’ll understand.
